Its June....

Well, we made it to June.  Let's see... Health and life updates... Still have the persistent cough (some days are better than others), over the weekend I felt terrible and ran a fever for multiple days... Still not feeling the best.  Finally got on with a new regular doctor at least. Due to my blood pressure meds being on a global shortage I had not taken it since the beginning of February, so they changed my meds and I started something new.  It makes me dizzy but no where as bad as the last type I was on.  Still not getting enough sleep but who is these days.  I've missed a lot of work because of this cough.  Of it wasn't for my wife being able to work I'm not sure how we would have made it.  I feel like if I added all the days I've actually worked since mid March they might sum up to a week tops.  I have been doing other things around the house to try to make up for the lack of income I bring to the table.  The wife has brought up the fact that she's good with only her working but I hate putting that kind of stress on her.  We both are fortunate to be able to remote into work during this pandemic.  Personally, I'm out of FMLA, sick days, personal holidays and I've only got a few vacation days for the rest of the year and I've accumulated way too many points on out attendance system so today is going to be the last day of me being able stay off work because I'm sick.  My cough hasn't improved much since March.  Oh, I don't know if I ever mentioned it but I take inbound customer service calls for a call center.  Thats why having an uncontrollable cough makes it hard/impossible to do my job.  Then again, if I was working somewhere in the public or an office that I couldn't remote into I still wouldn't be able to work depending on what restrictions they would have in place (like the persistent uncontrollable cough).  

So it seems I've rambled on to a point where by brain has given out so I'll wrap this up for now.  I hope anyone who is reading this (and those who don't) stay safe and healthy out there.
