I haven't forgot about this site!

As the title states, I haven't forgot about this site  I've just been busy...  Little update on life.  Went back into the office for 1 hole day.  While I was there I got my workstation set up with all the tools needed to work from home.  So obviously I now work from home.  Not a huge deal as I use to work from home at my last job.  Wife and I are both working from home now actually.  It was rough at first as we were in the same room due to being restricted by a 3 foot ethernet cable.  That issue has been rectified however thanks to a 50 foot cable cat 7 cable (bought online).  I did have to do some re-arranging of some furniture but I thing the new layout works well.  Now the wife and I have our own offices.  At this point I'm dreading the day I will have to report back to the office.  I forgot how much I enjoyed working in PJs.  

On a different note, Animal Crossing New Horizons.  Yes....  I got it.... and yes!  It had taken up much of my time (hence this site has not been updated.)  When I first started playing it my wife seemed a little irritated since I was so absorbed in the switch.  I made a mistake though.  One that was more costly than I would have imagined.  I don't usually play the switch in docked mode since I usually play when winding down and watching a little tv.  I was playing on the doc the other day though and my wife came in and started watching.  Next thing I know she wanted to play.  I was like "Cool, lets set you up a resident on the island!"  Well, that's where things took a turn.  She got hooked.  After her first session (which was about 5 or 6 hours) she discussed getting a second switch so she could have her own island to play.  After the second day of her playing I was tasked to find a switch.  For those living under a rock during the COVID outbreak (which might not necessarily be a bad thing as it may implement proper social distancing) the Nintendo Switch is having a shortage.  The shortage is partially due to the manufacturing facilities that were shut down due to the virus and part due to people at home with nothing to do.  After a couple days of searching I managed to find a switch lite deal that wasn't hyper inflated due to resellers.  Long story short,  I've ordered it and it should be shipping out any time now.  

That pretty much sums up my latest adventures.  Well, I'm still sick but finally getting better.  If I could just shake the cough I'd be set.  I've already typed much more than I planned for this post so I'll wrap things up MBMBaM style with a yahoo...
